Very quirky, unique place to stay. A refreshing change from the usual IKEA type places. A slight mix up on arrival but sorted very quickly by the owner, I have given full marks on every aspect as it’s a fab little place to stay!!

The place is located in a tiny village less than an hour's drive from Madrid. When you drive there, you get a glimpse of the area around Spain's capital: lots of cows, horses, sheep and pastures. Our room was relatively small, but nice, with a view of the village and the surrounding countryside. Worth the money.
I have to say that the restaurant is really remarkable (but you have to book in advance). The meat was just SPEC-TA-CU-LAR, the best entrecote I have had in the last decade... Worth the visit. And the staff is very nice. Consider this: we arrived with a cat (yes, we travel with a cat!). It was late, so we kept him in the restaurant rather than in our room, no questions asked. At one point, a couple with a dog, a big dog, came to see him, but the lady asked them to sit in another room as a favor to our cat.
Very happy with my stay here. Could not get in at usual place, so booked here. Easy off the motorway. Buitrago de Lozoya is just beautiful. Hotel was great. Room very nice, good view and could just see the lake. Plenty of free parking outside. Bed very comfortable. Wifi works well. Bathroom good, big windows in bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere very clean. Plenty of towels.
The hotel was on the outskirts of Buitrago del Lozoya which is a beautiful little town just north of Madrid. The hotel was lovely and the bedroom was clean and rustic. Walked into town for a few tapas and drinks. Breakfast was quite basic the next day but just what we wanted. Would definitely return and I recommend a trip to Buitrago.
The hotel was perfect, in an excellent position, free parking less than 100 metres away. Cesar the host meet us at the car park to show us the way, he was very helpful. The room was beautiful with plenty of space, could not fault this lovely little hotel and would definitely recommend it highly..
Pleasant, comfortable room. The hotel was on the main street and easy to find with public parking right outside. Enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel that was reasonably priced. Staff helpful and friendly.
