The breakfast was really nice and especially the daily changing juices were incredibly tasty. The location is very close to the city center and 2 different malls. You can reach everything by walking. The staff was also a highlight. They were really trying to make everything as comfortable as possible for us. Especially Yesid one of the receptionists was very welcoming and attentive. All the receptionist spoke English very well.

The hotel is nice and clean and the location is very good - walking distance to the beach. However, the staff was what impressed us the most. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The young guy at the breakfast would bring our coffee and tea as soon as he saw us in the morning which was very sweet. Every single staff member was super nice and seemed to genuinely be happy to help with everything we needed. They made us feel comfortable and happy we chose this place for our holiday.

Boasting a charming terrace with a pool, Hotel Balovento is set in a modern building in the Bocagrande neighborhood, just 2 blocks from the beach. Free WiFi and parking are available. Location is excellent, close to the center of Bocagrande, and two streets from the beach. Swimming pool is small, but has shade, and is often pretty empty. The breakfast is great, and can be delivered to the room at no extra charge. Rooms are nice, and shower pretty big and comfy. Staff is really nice and helpful. All together a great base to explore Cartagena.
